Ionetrics offers technical design and product development services in the general areas of instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems. Ionetrics specializes in digitizing and processing high speed data from solid state detector arrays and cameras, and in the development of advanced radiometric techniques, especially for ultraviolet and infrared imaging applications. A wide range of sensing, imaging, and spectroradiometric techniques are supported.
The Ionetrics Annotator products provide off-the-shelf easy-to-use solutions for precision time measurement and event timestamping. These products are easily integrated into existing data collection systems with little or no modifications to existing data acquisition and processing software. The Annotator timecode can be synchronized with an IRIG-B time code input or generated with an internal high-precision real-time clock. The Annotator Jr generates IRIG time stamps for single or multiple events without complicated and expensive PCI based time code boards, and can stream event times over USB or record to flash for later download over USB. The Annotator Jr is powered over USB or by an internal battery with a runtime of several days without recharging. The Annotator CL annotates CameraLink data streams with IRIG referenced frame times, and can accept data from single element detectors, linear arrays, or 2D imagers. Other telemetry or ancillary data can also be injected into the data stream as annotation.
The Annotator is used with the LR Tech DFT200 Digital Interferometer Controller to provide an upgrade path for the Bomem MR series of interferometers. Combined with the Edgar software package, these upgrades eliminate many of the limitations of the original systems, and provide an upgrade path to imaging and other options.
